The time has come. With the approaching release of Book 2 of The Rhapp’s Barren Triptych (somewhere around the end of the month), I wanted to reveal the book’s cover. Check it out after the jump. Continue reading Cover Reveal For The Undead Realm
I am pleased to announce that The Heart Thief is now available for purchase. Currently, it is available on Amazon.com as an ebook and a paperback. However, as of yet, Amazon has not linked the two different versions. I’m assured it will happen eventually. You can find the Kindle version here.
Sometime soon, The Heart Thief will also be available on Barnes & Noble and Apple. It is already available on Kobo and Smashwords, for those who shop those sites. I will also eventually make it possible to order autographed print copies through this site, if I ever figure out how to do that.
But in the meantime, check it out. Read it. Join my mailing list. And if you care to, go ahead and leave a review.
As I was writing The Heart Thief, there was a constant, nagging worry in the back of my mind. Is the violence in it too much, too graphic for the YA audience? Despite my concerns, I forged ahead because that was the story that formed itself in my head and needed to be told; it was what it was. My beta readers didn’t seem to mind, nor did they mention anything about it being too bloody for teens. Yet, I continuously fretted over the notion that young adults wouldn’t be able to handle it. YA authors never get that graphic, right? Of course, right!
And then I read Anna Dressed in Blood.
The time has come to reveal the official cover for The Heart Thief. I was fortunate to find a really great cover designer at a great price. I hope you all like it. Check it out after the jump.
Today was a day. I received drafts for two potential designs for The Heart Thief cover. They were both great, but I’m definitely gravitating toward one. It looks amazing, and I can’t wait to reveal it. But there are a few adjustments I’d like made first.
I’m having some artwork made for The Heart Thief, a series of eight interpretive character portraits. These aren’t for cover artwork or the interiors, but for promotional materials, i.e. the stuff that I’ll give away at book signings and what not.
I’ve uploaded my video book teaser for The Heart Thief to YouTube. Check it out below:
I have begun a Kickstarter campaign to help fund some of the costs of publishing The Heart Thief. Namely, a professionally designed cover, and, if I can meet my funding stretch goals, professional editing and proofreading.
As of now, 24 hours since it started, I am just shy of 50% of my initial funding goal. Click here to visit the Kickstarter page, and, please consider pledging and sharing with everyone you know.
